Wood, paint, oil, microphones, mixer

The sound for the sculpture was created through the use of microphones and speakers that were placed close to each other and a mixer that turned those sounds into an infinite feedback loop. The result was a deep, humming, sonorous sound that was both soothing and unsettling and filled the foyer of the Art School Beaux-Arts de Paris during the show Piège d’haut altitude. The sound continuously kept changing as visitors passed by.
