I Forgot The Color Where I Came From
Solo exhibition, EIGEN + ART Lab, Berlin
13.02–14.03.2026
Looking at the history of a thing
from the perspective of that thing
With a gaze of sound and light
and in between
is color and structure
I have a feeling and I just can’t let it go
The constant sound of your body
The deaf hear themselves
and waves and seagulls
do too
A voice is not only heard with the ears
the whole body listens
lungs
veins
blood
organs with babies inside
Sound is something other than language
Many animals have language
but only humans insist on conversation
On a beach
in a city
Like a pollution
that both soothes
and hurts
Penetrating
immensely deep inside
the inside answering back
Noise is something always both outside and inside
a feeling and
I just
Slicing grapefruits with the correct method
Removing the bitter skin
Slicing grapefruits paper thin so the sun shines through
